行政院衛生署食品藥物管理局與檢調合作查獲「昱伸香料有限公司」製售之「起雲劑」含有塑化劑成分DEHP一案,於4月時所檢出之產品僅為益生菌一項,該產品已立即下架回收,當時並未得知污染來源,經追查後始知是昱伸香料公司起雲劑中之DEHP污染,因為起雲劑廣泛使用於食品中,因此立刻迅速展開追查,並將違法產品採取下架回收等措施。至案情明朗時,於5月23日對外公布。
該局及地方衛生局為保障國人健康及食用安全,持續追蹤使用含有塑化劑DEHP成分之違法起雲劑廠商名單及其產品流向,全國只要使用昱伸香料公司所提供之起雲劑所生產之食品均要求下架回收。截至目前為止,可能使用昱伸香料有限公司含有塑化劑DEHP成分起雲劑之下架回收數量,依產品類別計有:果汁、果醬、濃糖果漿、水果粉及優格粉等共計20,880.45公斤;運動飲料、果汁飲料及茶飲料等共計464,365瓶;益生菌粉包共計133,887盒及30,000包。其詳細下游廠商名單、產品名稱及下架回收數量詳如附表一。
行政院衛生署食品藥物管理局接獲各地方衛生局最新下架回收數量情形如下:新竹市起雲劑25公斤;苗栗縣飲料695瓶;台中市乳酸菌粉末115盒及3萬包;台南市乳酸菌粉末409公斤及418盒、飲料112瓶;雲林縣飲料1631瓶;連江縣138瓶,另彰化縣封存果汁粉等產品2.5公斤。其詳細廠商名稱、產品名稱及下架回收數量詳如附表二,相關資訊可參閱食品藥物管理局(http://www.fda.gov.tw/)或食品藥物消費者知識服務網(http://consumer.fda.gov.tw/)網頁。
經初步清查,名牌公司生產2項運動飲料產品(品名:動力運動飲品、動力運動飲品檸檬口味)曾出口至香港,昱伸香料有限公司之下游廠商(成偉食品股份有限公司)曾將含有DEHP之違法起雲劑外銷至菲律賓及越南;傳佳食品有限公司曾出口至美國3種產品之原料成分含有違法起雲劑,該局將透過管道通報上述國家。
本次起雲劑含有DEHP係為業者惡意添加,食品藥物管理局將評估日後列入例行檢驗項目。該局呼籲廠商應自主管理,負起企業責任,儘快清查產品是否使用來自昱伸公司之起雲劑,有問題者,立即下架回收,並主動對外公布。

【食在不安全】近幾年來台灣有黑心食物問題,從2008年的毒奶粉事件後,最近報紙的頭條天天都會「驚爆黑心食品」,從學童營養午餐驚見有蛆、淡水河毒魚還有可能已經喝了兩年才被踢爆有毒的毒果汁,台灣雖然是美食之都,但食物裡卻充滿危險。
最近,根據「Yahoo!奇摩新聞民調中心」調查顯示,有高達63.4%網友表示優良肉商被驗出有禁藥,已經影響他們吃肉習慣。
【2個問題】問題是,台灣的食品安全問題怎麼愈來愈多呢?主要有兩個原因:
1.食品添加物多樣化
彰化衛生局調查發現,從近年因生技科技蓬勃發展,「食品添加物」愈來愈多樣化,但是衛生機關對產製與販售業者,卻毫無管理辦法可管制。
2.成本考量>安全考量
這次不少受害飲料業者表示,當他們向上游有營業登記廠商訂購原物料時,主要以成本作考量,哪家便宜買哪家,比較不會去深究這些食品添加物是否安全。
【自保3步驟】1.新鮮吃
林口長庚醫院毒物科主任林杰樑建議,吃當季盛產、價格又便宜的生鮮產品,不只營養成份高,且農民為了不增加成本,大多會按照安全採收期來施用藥物,因此殘留抗生素、農藥的機率較低。
2. 不要吃
林杰樑也建議少碰動物內臟、脂肪、雞皮、鴨皮、肥肉、大型魚的魚油等食物,是動物體內最容易殘留各類抗生素、重金屬、戴奧辛等毒素的部位,想要避免致癌物質入口,儘量不要吃蛋黃,喝牛奶時也要選擇「脫脂」牛奶。
3.挑著吃
避免包裝、罐頭食品、塑膠容器調理包裝的食品,減少雙酚A(BPA)化學物的含量,能讓體內干擾荷爾蒙的化學物質降低。
在食品安全疑慮更大的大陸,還有年輕人開始當起「城市農夫」,在搜尋網站打上關鍵字「陽台種菜」,竟能看見有26萬個相關網頁在討論;台灣的食品安全倘若再不解決,或許將來我們也要開始當起城市農夫才能吃得安心。

If you have a grill and know how to use it, this would be a perfect recipe to do outdoors. Otherwise, in a cast iron skillet or on a grill pan is the way to go. You'll have to get skewers that are small enough to fit in your skillet; 4-5" bamboo skewers shouldn't be hard to find.
You can use some center-cut boneless pork chops or a whole tenderloin. You could even do this with chicken if you're dating a guy you met at the gym. Or a guy that wears short-shorts and has spitcurls plastered to his temples. But don't date that guy. Really.
The spinach is really just there because it's pretty and good for you. Some dudes hate green things, though. If you suspect that is the case, you could cook a cup of rice in 2 cups of chicken broth, add some butter, and serve it over that.
INGREDIENTS
1 pound boneless pork loin chops
6 strips of bacon (about 4 ounces)
12 pineapple chunks, about 1" square
1 bell pepper, cut into 1" squares
1 onion, cut in half crosswise, and the halves cut into 6 wedges each
salt and pepper
Skewers!
4 cups baby spinach
1 tangerine, peeled and seeded and separated into sections
Citrus glaze and dressing:
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
DIRECTIONS
Cut the pork into 12 cubes, approximately 1"x1"x1.5". Cut the bacon strips in half crosswise and wrap each pork cube in a pork strip. Impale the wrapped cubes on a skewer and then stick on a pineapple chunk and bell pepper and onion. Continue until all the stuffs are used up. Sprinkle the kebabs with salt and pepper on all sides.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Put in as many kebabs as you can fit, probably 4 depending on your skillet. Cook on one side 4 minutes, or until they can be flipped easily. Turn the heat to medium and cook on each other side 2-3 minutes until the meat is all done in there. It'll take about 10-12 minutes total.
Mix all the glaze ingredients in a jar with a tight lid and shake the hell out of it. Brush a little of this over the pork right before you pull it out of the skillet.
Arrange on plates: spinach, tangerines, kebabs. Drizzle a few tablespoons of the dressing over the whole thing. Feed your soul and your man's soul. And yo' sexy bodies.

Potato soup rules. It compliments an elegant party menu and gives comfort and nourishment to the sick, but best of all, the ingredients are usually on hand.
To complete this how-to, you will need:
1 onion
Butter or oil
5 potatoes
Liquid ingredient (water or stock)
Herbs
Milk or light cream
Salt and pepper
Large pot
Spoon
Stove
Bowls
Immersion blender (optional)
Step 1: Saute onion
Saute a chopped onion in butter or oil in a large pot over medium heat, until the onion is soft.
Step 2: Add potatoes
Add five peeled and diced potatoes to the pot, then add enough boiling water or stock to cover the potatoes, and toss in a teaspoon of thyme or a bay leaf.
Dice potatoes into small pieces to make a chunky-style potato soup.
Step 3: Bring to boil
Bring the potato soup to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are soft enough to break apart.
Step 4: Puree
Puree the mixture if you prefer to make a potato soup with a smooth and creamy consistency.
Use an immersion blender to safely puree the hot potato soup.
Step 5:
Add milk or light cream to thin the soup and for a greater nutritional value; then return the soup to the heat and warm it to the desired temperature.
Step 6: Ladle
Ladle the soup into bowls, then add salt and pepper to taste. Serve family and friends, warming their bodies and spirits on a cold day.
